Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice....Bucks, Not So Much

So, I picked this up yesterday as my talisman of hope for the next 5 months.

Ever since Kevin arrived on the farm, I've come 'round to the idea of Darla being bred.
Of course, Farmer shakes his head at the thought of the two different breeds but I'm pretty sure he thinks it's better than me sobbing hysterically when our ginormous, stinking buck, Bill, leers at my sweet,
 precious, innocent baby.

Besides, Kevin is 6 months younger than Darla, so in goat years that makes her a cougar.
Makes me feel safer.
I don't know why.
:)

The whole thing has been traumatic for me so, now that I've settled into the idea
I'm wishing for a baby girl.   *sigh*
I've already named her:  Baby Alice
I cannot wait!
She's going to have the prettiest dresses ever!

And, should it be a boy?
Well, that's another issue.
But I've a name ready for him as well:  Wee Fergus
I'm going to get him one of those tiny sailor suits!

But all lace, onesies, adorable hats and silliness aside.....
of this I am certain:
That goatie will be loved.

Hey!  Maybe I'll get ONE OF EACH!
;)

Here's to Autumnal Love.........and Blessings......

Oh my, if it's a boy, are you secreting him away to an undisclosed location to live a long happy life as a wether with a still unnamed goat sister?

Twins are a distinct possibility! ;-)
Those last two pictures are so cute, "Young love, first love!!"

Madelyn- Dairy.....but I really don't know. Kevin and Dave came to us out of the blue. They were supposed to leave but I begged for them to stay. :)

They were sort of *trouble makers* who ended up needing to re-homed. But they are good as gold and I thought they would just make the farm a way stop....but then I fell in love with them........ ;)

Now those could be some interesting children. Yes, one of each. With hair. Lots of hair. :)
