CRANFORD

If you haven't been to BBC's CRANFORD...well then, you should. Immediately!  Get thee, hie!
Love, love, LOVIN' Bessie, dearest......Mrs. Forrester's beloved cow....who fell in a lime pit and lost her hair and now wears jaunty jammies!
I'm pretty sure if I were lucky enough to live in Cranford, I'd be Mrs. Forrester.  Though I must say, I probably would have gone with a lovely calico!  :)
I never thought I should love a cow, but since Miss Lizzie happened upon me I have found it to be SUCH a delight!  Those eyes....that nose......that love............
You can be sure, as Spring blooms....so will my love of cows.....!
Oh dear, I really DO need a farm!
 Miss Elizabeth Rose Bovinia
Now, off I go to RETURN to CRANFORD!
Hope to see you there!

I love Bessie! And bless Mrs. Forrester for making sure she stays warm after the tragic loss of her hair!

I would be afraid to see what you collected if you really had your own farm. You'd be even worse than me. :-)

Cracked me up! When I saw that picture I thought, 'Wow. How did she get those clothes on that cow and how did she get Mr. Farmer to let her put those clothes on that cow?' Then, of course, I found out it wasn't you. Still, I am quite sure Miss Lizzie will be sporting something soon. I think it just goes without saying, doesn't it? Sort of an accepted fact of life? Like Peanuts? :)

What a hoot! I love the cow with her jammies but I do agree that a nice calico would be the "cat's, er, um, COW'S pajamas!" :)

Hi Mimi. I've seen Cranford at least three times. It's a wonderful film. I'm here through Pat at Weaver and pleased to meet another fellow Cranford fan.

Oooh, I might have a farm for sale before long! I really do love those cow jammies though. Is there a butt flap?

Claire- Not so much a flap as a large hole.......

If you google Cranfor cow you'll see a lovely pic of Bessie, dearest walking through a door and thus displaying her butt! :)

Elisabeth- Welocme! And thanks for visiting! (Though I *do* hope it was betwixt the hours of 12 and 3 and for no longer than a quarter hour......) ;)

I AODRED Cranford........though the Return left me saddened..........

I loved Cranford but I can't remember the cow in the lime pit.

You have a lot of interesting blogs here, I need to find the one which has the easiest access.
